first, let me say that i have been (was?) a barack obama supporter for a long time. my sister wears his tee-shirts. my brother has an obama campaign sign in his yard. my wife has an obama bumper-sticker on her desk. my friend painted an obama poster
i promoted barack obama to my iowa neighbors long before the iowa caucus, which, if mr obama would recognize, launched his bid.
While he was in iowa, he was caught telling people in one city his thoughts on NAFTA, and telling people in another city something completely different. When did his mind change? i don't like being lied to, and i feel he has tarnished my credibility among my peers.
(kinda like when you recommend a friend for a job, and they turn out to be a dead-beat)
here is a recent washingtonpost story about obamas top flip flops
i guess i knew all along that i was supporting the lesser of two evils when obama was battling clinton. along the way, perhaps i actually convinced myself that he would BE the change that he promised.
but then the flip flops started. i guess what really burst my bubble was FISA.
in a moment of clarity, i realize that barack obama is the same kind of politician as the rest...
we will get more of "the same Washington DC", now hyped with new marketing and packaging.
and no, barack obama did not "master" the internet. The internet supported him.That is their fundamental misunderstanding. And he may have begun to lose our support
